This year’s Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) convention and business expo is in Austin, Texas and has been expanded to include something for business owners and non-business owners alike. Convention participants will have the opportunity to attend informative workshops, a business expo, procurement matchmaking, luncheons, hospitality suites, networking sessions, and receptions with excellent facilitators and speakers.
Hispanic business and community leaders from all over the state of Texas will gather for this statewide event. Non-Chamber members, individuals, and students are welcomed to participate.
TAMACC is a nonprofit 501(c)6 organization founded in 1975 by a small group of Hispanic businesspersons interested in increasing business opportunities. The association, strategically headquartered in Austin, Texas is the organizational umbrella for, and provides advocacy, technical assistance, programs, and services to, the network of local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce with a base membership of over 15,000. TAMACC is the leading advocate for over 500,000 Hispanic businesses in Texas.

Expo Mujer TX (Tx Woman Expo) will debut in Austin on February 22nd at the Austin Marriott South with a day full of surprises. There will be cooking workshops, personal enrichment seminars, fashion shows, beauty products, and everything else a woman would like more information about. The TAMACC Annual Convention and Business Expo is one of the largest gatherings of Hispanic business owners in the state. The three day convention in Houston, Texas is organized to provide business and networking opportunities to Hispanic Chambers, statewide organizations, and business leaders from across the state of Texas.
Convention participants will be able to grow their businesses by taking advantage of procurement opportunities, training and technical assistance workshops. If your business is not Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) certified to do business with the state of Texas, there will be representatives from state universities, federal and state agencies to educate you on opportunities and best practices of doing business with the state or fortune 500 Corporations.
