Social Good Summit is a community of like-minded individuals who believe in having the power to solve the world’s greatest problems. Austin’s event will take place on September 24th, 2013 at Austin Community College Eastview with the focus on not only the progress that has been made in a year, but more importantly the new and innovative developments made to incorporate your voice, ideas, and actions. This year’s theme will be “Me to the power of (We)”, the concept of aligning all efforts in creating social good in the world by empowering individuals to spur innovative change through support, creating a ripple change that becomes contagious and continuous.
Social Good Summit Austin 2013 will include for the first time, Social Innovators Fastpitch featuring social entrepreneurs and innovators from the community who are working on changing the world. Attendees will get to hear ideas and vote on who will lead the initiative for the year. The goal is to raise $5000 through donors using Crowd Tilt to award the prize winner to be awarded to the winner at the event.
